About the art .

These pages display my work in different categories that reflect my approach to the work.

Paintings are thought about and developed without constraints, on grounds specially made according to my goal.

Flotsam develop from materials found on the shore, and pretty much dictate the evolution of the work.

There isn’t a philosophy or a grand theory to bind them all. I paint because the pictures need making. i do not feel like I have much of a say in why the work ends up as it does. My only aim is to produce something that some people wish to see.

If you are one of these people, please receive my thanks as you are justifying the time I spend in the studio.

I sign my work with my wife’s surname as it is the most efficient way I have found to acknowledge that without her, none of this work would be.
